Global eInvoicing: get ready for 2026 and beyond

In the coming years, many countries will introduce new e-invoicing and digital reporting obligations. Starting in 2026, binding regulations will come into effect in France, Belgium, Poland, Croatia, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, and Singapore. Germany, Slovenia, Slovakia, and Latvia will follow soon after.

At the same time, the European Union is accelerating digital transformation with the ViDA (VAT in the Digital Age) initiative, which will make VAT reporting more standardized, real-time, and interconnected.

What does this mean for businesses? Compliance won’t be optional: systems, processes, and document flows must be updated quickly. Companies that act now can:

  • Avoid last-minute scrambling
  • Reduce the risk of non-compliance
  • Streamline administrative processes and cut costs
  • Strengthen regulatory control in international markets
